Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program - Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School, Bidur-Nuwakot

On 22nd February 2026, VG Foundation successfully organized a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Workshop at Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School in collaboration with Leo Club of Budigandaki.

The program was conducted with the objective of raising awareness about menstrual health and hygiene among approximately 500 female students of the school. The sessions were led by qualified medical professionals managed by the Leo Club to ensure detailed information and effective implementation. The students were provided with clear guidance on maintaining proper menstrual hygiene, addressing common misconceptions, and understanding the importance of reproductive health.



As part of the initiative, a total 500 whisper sanitary pads were distributed at school with 4 days session where each female student receive a packet of whisper sanitary pads after the session to encourage safe and hygienic menstrual practices. In addition, around 2,688 Horlicks sachets were handed over to the school management so that students can enjoy a nutritious drink as part of their meal. This support was provided to contribute to the overall well-being and nutrition of the students.

VG Foundation would like to express sincere appreciation to the Leo Club of Budigandaki for organizing the Adhaar Project, through which students of Grade 11 and 12 received IT training. Through this initiative, VG Foundation had the opportunity to conduct the Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program at the school.
